Eco

Last year, inspired by a very talented felter, Vilte, I've tried eco dyeing with plants. The process took itself in my parents country house, where it is more than easy to gather the desired flowers - you just have to spend some time for this. So, my first experiment - yarrow (Achillea millefolium).

And the result:

This summer I used this gentle piece of silk for felting - only undyed, natural wools.

Our Journey

Just several words about the things I'll never forget...

Driving through Hungary with its endless fields of sunflowers...

Visiting Budapest's Zoo & Botanical Garden, one of the oldest in the world.
This is the place where some of the animals are so near that you can touch them...

Having fun in the lake Balaton...

Enjoying the waterfalls in Plitvice Lake National Park, Croatia...

Watching the fishes there...

Travelling through the regions where peaches, fig trees and other goodies grow...

Visiting one of the most beautiful cities near Adriatic Sea - Dubrovnik...

And perhaps the southernmost land point of Croatia, Prevlaka, with its fortress

And those small islands in the Adriatic Sea... They are so beautiful...

Driving along a narrow road near the Lake Skadar in Montenegro was difficult, yet worth it.

And the River Tara...

Then - back to Croatia, to take some rest...

Split City with Diocletian's Palace: just a detail of sewerage remains:

Walking through the narrow streets of Split...

.... with their everyday life...

Visiting Postojna Cave in Slovenia...

Having a small evening brake in Vienna, Austria...

That's it.
One more journey is over.
And now - back to reality, to work, to our daily life....
